The new EU Directive 2026/706 amending MID 2014/32/EU including EVSE is official.

Justervesenet is already an EU Notified body for Active electrical energy meters (Annex V MI-003) and offers assessment service accordingly.

Justervesenet will apply to be notified body for the EU Directive 2026/706 amending MID 2014/32/EU and we will specifically apply to be appointed notified body for the Annex Va Measuring system for electrical vehicle supply equipment EVSE (MI-011)

Which standards to be used for EU type certification of EVSE?

At present no normative or harmonized standards are in place, but there is an OIML guide available, OIML G22. There is work going on in OIML to “convert” the OIML G22 to a Recommendation.

There is also an EN standard on its way, TS (EN) 50472, but this standard is not finished per today. If one of these will be EU normative or harmonized standard is about to see, but we believe they give a good indication of the upcoming demands.

In addition, there are a lot of other test standards referred to in the mentioned standards. For example:
