What is a Notified Body?
Justervesenet is designated as a Notified Body (NB) under the EU Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and the Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Directive (NAWID). This means we are authorized to perform conformity assessments and certifications for measuring instruments before they are placed on the market or put into use.
As a Notified Body, we ensure that measuring instruments comply with EU regulations, allowing them to be legally used and sold across the EEA (European Economic Area). This is essential for manufacturers and suppliers aiming to introduce their products to the European market.
