Calibration
Justervesenet offers calibration of measurement standards and measurement instruments. The calibrations are traceable to national standards and the SI units and are the most accurate measurements that can be made in Norway.
Calibration is normally performed in the National Metrology Laboratory. Calibration of weighing instruments may be performed in the five local verification offices in Oslo/Kjeller, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø.
Calibrations done by the National Metrology Laboratory and at the accredited verification offices will satisfy requirements in ISO 9001 for traceable calibrations in certified companies, as well as in ISO 17 025 for accredited laboratories.
